Lakshadweep Administration, Kavaratti invites applications from local eligble candidates who fulfilling the requisite criteria for filling up the following below mentioned General Central Service Group ‘C’ (Non- Gazetted/ Non- Ministerial/ Technical) posts under Direct Recruitment Quota through Open Competitive Examination for 2014. The candidates eligible for the post may apply on or before 02 June 2014 by 5.00 PM.

Important Date

• Last Date for Submission of Application: 02 June 2014 by 1700 Hrs.
• Date of Written Examination: 09 August 2014 from 1000 Hrs. to 1200 Hrs.

Details of Posts

• Multi Skilled Employee (MSE): 14 (Fourteen)
• House Keeper: 01 (One).            
• Operator (LTTD Plant): 06 (Six).

Educational Qualification

• For Post 1: Matriculation (Tenth (10th) Pass) or equivalent from a recognized Board or Institution. 
• For Post 2 

(i) Matriculation (Tenth (10th) Pass) or equivalent from a recognized Board or Institution.  

(ii) Certificate Course of minimum three months duration in Hotel Industry/ Hospitality Management.

(iii) Conversational ability in English and Hindi.

(iv) At least two years of experience as House Keeper in registered Hotel/ Resturant/ Tourist Resort.

• For Post 3
  

I. SSLC or equivalent from a recognized Board or Institution.  
II.  02 (two) years working experience in Desalination Plant.

Age Limit

Age Limit for the candidate of should be between 18 to 25 years as on last date of receipt of application and Relaxation as per Govt. rules.

Pay Scale/ Salary 

Pay Band is PB – 1 and Pay Scale of Rs. 5,200/- to Rs. 20,200/- with Grade Pay of Rs. 1,800/- Per Month (for post 1 & 2) and Grade Pay of Rs. 1,900/- Per Month (for post 3).

Selection Procedure

The short listed candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in Written Test followed with the Interview, which will be conducted by the administration.
