RBI Assistant or Bank PO: Which one to go for?

Here we are giving some simple tips to score well in RBI Assistant Mains Exam 2017.

Negative Marking is there: There will be negative marks for wrong answers in the Objective tests. 1/4th marks will be deducted for each wrong answer. Always remember that guesswork will not benefit you in any bank recruitment examination. So candidates should be avoiding guesswork. Mark the answer only if you are sure about it. Don’t be in hurry to mark the answer.

Read the options carefully: Sometimes options may also help you to find out the correct answer. So check all the options before marking your answer. This trick will immensely help you to answer reading comprehension question more quickly.

Move on: Don’t waste your time by sticking to just one question. If you are not getting the right answer, switch to the next question immediately. Solve the other questions and mark it to review and return to this one after you have completed rest of the test.  The equal marks are allotted for all the questions, so there is no point in giving a lot of time to a question which is bothering you.

Selection of right question to attempt: Every competitive examination has some easy, some moderate and some very tough questions – those who wish to ace the exam must learn to spot the easy ones and avoid the tough ones. No one will be able to attempt all questions in the given time and therefore the best approach is to focus on accuracy rather than on the number of questions to be attempted. In this scenario, the key to score maximum marks is the ‘selection’ of the right question to attempt.

Just Relax before a Test Day: Many candidates bring with them unachievable expectations, numerous anxieties in the examination hall. It can paralyse your capacity to perform well in the examination. It’s important to be relaxed and have peace of mind before the examination day. Get a good sleep and stay calm on the exam day and give your best performance.

Make sure you bring all necessary documents: Bring all necessary documents (mention in the call letter) in the examination hall. The call letter should be brought with you to the examination venue along with your recent passport size photograph duly pasted on it. Bring this call letter with your photograph affixed thereon, currently valid Photo identity proof in original and a photocopy of the same ID proof which you bring in original.

Arrive a bit early:  Time and venue address of the examination given in the call letter. Candidates may visit the venue one day before the Examination to confirm the location so that you are able to report on time on the day of the examination. The candidate should reach the examination venue before 30 minutes of scheduled time to avoid any discomfort.
