MBA Admission Notification in GGS Indraprastha University 2012

Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University was established by Government of NCT of Delhi. The University is recognised by University Grants Commission (UGC), India under section 12B of UGC Act. Popularly known as IP University by its students, the university has invited applications from eligible candidates for admission to its MBA programme.

• Sale of Application brochure & CET form starts from: 2 December 2011
• Opening date for online application: 15 December 2011
• Last Date for sale of Application Brochure & CET form (by post): 31 January 2012
• Last Date for receipt of CET application/ online registration: 20 February 2012 till 5 pm
• Date of Common Entrance Test 2012 (CET 101): 4 March 2012 (from 10.30 am to 1 pm)
• Date of declaration of result: 13 March 2012
• Date for declaration of Schedule for Personal Interview: 17 March 2012
• Date for Personal Interview: 2 April 2012 to 25 April 2012
• Date of declaration of final merit list: 8 May 2012

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification: Any recognized Bachelor's Degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate OR Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Technology or any other subject with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate or any qualification recognized as equivalent thereto with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate OR Passed the Final Examination of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India or England, the Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India or England or the Institute of Company Secretaries of India

Age Limit: Maximum 35 years

Cost of Admission Brochure: The price of Admission Brochure along with Application Form is Rs 1000.

Admission brochure along with Application Form can also be obtained through registered/ speed post. A Demand Draft of Rs 1100 drawn in favour of Registrar, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, payable at Delhi. The name, address and phone number of the applicant should be clearly mentioned on the back side of the Demand Draft/ Pay Order.

For online application, the application form along with the Common Entrance Test Fee of Rs 1,000 and Rs 100 as postage and handling can be submitted through the Internet Link.

Selection Procedure: Candidates will be selected on the basis of written test (600 marks) and interview (200 marks). The test paper will contain 150 objective-type questions (4 marks for each question). Each question will be provided with four alternative answers.

How to Apply: Candidates opting for online submission of application, can apply from the website http://www.ipu.ac.in For others, the Application Form complete in all respects in the sealed printed envelope given along with Admission Brochure, should be submitted by hand at the University counter or it may be sent by Registered/ Speed Post to the Controller of Examinations, Administrative Block, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Sec 16 C, Dwarka, New Delhi-110075.
