MBA Admissions 2016: Apply for Karnataka Management Aptitude Test (KMAT) 2016

Karnataka Private Post Graduate Colleges Association (KPPGCA) has invited applications from various candidates to apply for its MBA / PGDM / MCA Programmes for the year 2016. All the interested and eligible candidates can apply through proper channel latest by 10 May, 2016.

Karnataka Private Post Graduate Colleges Association (KPPGCA) was established in 2003 to provide proactive support to professional education and facilitate and streamline admission to postgraduate professional courses, viz., MBA, PGDM and MCA. There are 150 + member B-schools of KPPGCA located across Karnataka which are affiliated to respective universities in the State.

KMAT is conducted by Karnataka Private Post Graduate Colleges Association (KPPGCA), KMAT is the gateway to more than 150 + well known AICTE-approved University-affiliated B-schools in Bangalore and Karnataka. KMAT 2016 is an All India exam that will be held in more than 10 cities all across the country and is open to candidates from all parts of India and Abroad.

KMAT 2016, to be held on May 29, is the last common entrance exam for MBA / PGDM Admissions 2016. It is a conventional Paper-Pencil Test with moderate difficulty level.

Eligibility Criteria for Karnataka Management Aptitude Test (KMAT)

For MBA / PGDM:

Bachelors’ degree with minimum 3 years duration / Masters’ degree examination of any recognised education body in Commerce, Management, Arts, Social Sciences, Engineering/ Technology or equivalent, and have secured at least 50% of marks in the aggregate (40% for SC / ST candidate). Candidates in their final year of bachelor’s degree are also eligible.

Selection procedure for Admission in MBA / PGDM / MCA Programmes

Successfully registered candidate is required to undertake a Karnataka Management Aptitude Test (KMAT) – 2016. It is a conventional Paper-Pencil Multiple Choice Examination. Karnataka Management Aptitude Test (KMAT) – 2016 is going to be held on 29 May 2016.

How to apply for Karnataka Management Aptitude Test (KMAT) 2016

Online Mode:

Eligible candidate can registered themself on the official website (http://kmatindia.com/register-for-kmat-2016.php) of KMAT within specified time and need to pay Rs.700/- through credit card and other mode of payment as a fee of registration.

Offline Mode:

Candidate is required to download Admission Form from the official website of KMAT. Fee for Offline Registration is Rs. 700. Demand Draft should be prepared in the name of KMAT 2016 and payable at Bangalore. Candidates need to send the duly filled in form along with the requisite documents to Triumph Media Tech (P) Ltd, B 57, Sector 72, Noida 201301 on or before 10 May 2016.

Karnataka Management Aptitude Test (KMAT) Examination Pattern

KMAT 2016 is a paper-pencil based test comprising 120 MCQs divided in 4 sections of Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension; Quantitative Ability; Logical Reasoning and General Awareness. The test is to be completed in 120 minutes without any sectional time limit. The candidate is allowed to switch from one section to other within the overall time limit. Each question would carry 4 marks and there will be negative marking of 1 mark for each wrong response.
