MBA Admissions 2016: Apply in IIFT for MBA International Business (Weekend) Programme

    IIFT has invited applications for its MBA – International Business (Weekends) Programme for the academic session 2016 – 19. All the interested and eligible candidates can apply latest by 11th May, 2016.

    The Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT), Deemed University, is the national Institute in International Business Education and Research. Established in 1963, as an autonomous body under the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India, it has contributed in the skill building for the external trade sector of India.

    Eligibility Criteria for MBA (IB) Weekends Programme

    • Bachelor’s degree from any recognized University or Institution.
    • A minimum managerial experience (including self – employed) of not less than Three Years as on June 30, 2016. (Only the work experience after eligibility qualifications will be considered).
    • No Objection Certificate’ from employer is required at the time of admission.
    • No age limit.

    Selection procedure for MBA (IB) Weekends Programme

    Successfully registered candidate is required to undertake Group Discussion, Essay Writing and Interview. Group Discussion, Essay Writing and Interview to be held at IIFT Campus, New Delhi in the month of May.

    How to apply in IIFT for MBA (IB) Weekends Programme

    Candidate is required to purchase Prospectus along with Admission Form by sending a Demand Draft of Rs. 1200/- (Rupees twelve Hundred only) in favour of " Indian Institute of Foreign Trade" payable at New Delhi and fill the Application Form as per the instruction mentioned and send the duly filled in form along with the requisite documents to IIFT at B – 21, Qutab Institutional Area, New Delhi on or before 11th May 2016.


    • Application fees for SC / ST / PH candidates is Rs. 600.
    • Application form also can be downloaded from official website of Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT).

    Duration and Timings of MBA (IB) Weekends Programme

    The duration of the Programme is two years and six months spread over nine trimesters. For the first week at the beginning of each Trimester regular classes from 9:00 am to 6:30 pm will be held at IIFT Campus in New Delhi and after that Classes will be held on every Saturdays and Sundays as per timings below:




    3:00 pm to 7:15 pm


    9:00 am to 6:15 pm
