MBA Admissions 2016: Apply in MUHS’s MBA (HCA) Programme

Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS) has invited applications from various candidates to apply for its MBA (Health Care Administration) Programme for the academic session 2016 – 18. All the interested and eligible candidates can apply through proper channel latest by 07^th May, 2016.

The Maharashtra University of Health Sciences with jurisdiction over the whole of the State of Maharashtra is established and incorporated on 3rd June 1998 to ensure proper and systematic instruction, teaching, training, and research in modern medicine and Indian Systems of Medicine in the State of Maharashtra. Head Office is located at Vani-Dindori Road, Mhasrul, Nashik.

Eligibility Criteria for MUHS’s MBA (HCA) Programme

1. Graduate in Health Sciences (MBBS /BDS/ BAMS / BHMS / BUMS / BPTH / P.B.B.Sc. (Nursing) /B. Pharm/) / B.Sc Nursing / B.Sc. Biotechnology / B.Sc. Microbiology of any Statutory University
2. The candidates who have passed final year Health Sciences / Nursing / Pharmacy and completed / completing internship training by 31st July, 2016 from a recognized institute included in the respective Council Acts.

Selection procedure for MUHS’s MBA (HCA) Programme

Successfully registered candidate is required to undertake a HEAT test comprising of Multiple Choice Questions. HEAT will be conducted on 22^nd May, 2016 at Pune centre.

Final selection will be made on the basis of combined merit of written test and personal interview.

TIE – Breaker

In case of candidates securing equal final Score (HEAT 2016)   their relative merit will be determined on the basis of following order of preference.

a) When the final entrance score i.e. the marks of HEAT 2016 are the same, candidate with higher marks in HSC Exam will get preference.

b) When the final entrance score i.e the marks of HEAT 2016   and also percentage of marks in HSC Exam are the same , the candidate with higher marks in SSC Exam will get preference.

How to apply for MUHS’s MBA (HCA) Programme

Candidate is required to download Application Form from the official website of MUHS.

Fill the Application Form as per the instruction mentioned and send the duly filled in form along with the requisite documents & Demand Draft of Rs. 1000/-  in favour of “The Registrar, MUHS Nashik” (payable at Nashik) to School of Health Care Administration, MUHS Regional Centre, Pune At Sancheti Health Care Academy Thube Park, Shivaji Nagar,  Pune.

Admission Calendar for MUHS’s MBA (HCA) Programme

The important dates for admission in its MBA (HCA) Programme are as follow;

MUHS’s HEAT Examination Pattern

HEAT 2016 written test examination paper will be of 2 ½ hours duration.

Each Question will be of single best response objective type with four answer options. Each correct response shall be awarded one mark. There shall be NO Negative marking for wrong answer.

Total 200 MCQ will be asked from three sections as follows;

• Verbal ability and reading comprehension – 67 questions (67 Marks)
• Quantitative aptitude – 66 questions (66 Marks)
• Logical / abstract reasoning – 67 questions (67 Marks)

Test Centres for HEAT Test

HEAT will be conducted at the Pune centre.

Admit Card for HEAT – 2016

The admit card will be issued online to eligible candidates on their email address provided by them.
