MBA Entrance Exams: The Details

 The MBA (Master of Business Administration) is a postgraduate degree that is given to students who have mastered the study of business. The MBA is currently the most popular professional degree program in the world. 

Graduates of all types- commerce, science, arts, engineers etc. aspire to do MBA.  There are different types of Entrance Exams conducted by colleges all around the world for getting admission in top B schools.

 Few of the top exams conducted in India are

 Common Admission Test (CAT): 

CAT is a computer based test held in India. It is conducted by Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs ) for selecting students for the Business Administration Programs Amongst all the management exams, the Common Admission (CAT) is often considered the toughest nut to crack. CAT tests the Quantitative Ability, Data Interpretation, Verbal Ability and Logical Reasoning of the aspirants.

 Management Aptitude Test (MAT):

Management Aptitude Test (MAT ) is an Entrance test for admissions into MBA programs in various top B – schools and other institutes across the India. It is conducted by AIMA (All India Management Association) New Delhi. MAT is conducted 4 times in a year (in February, May, September & December).

 Common Management Admission Test (CMAT):

 Common Management Admission Test is a national level admission test for admission in all management programs approved by AICTE.  It is a national-level admission test for facilitating institutions to select suitable students for admission in all management programmes approved by AICTE. The exam is held twice a year in the months of February and September. The question paper comprises four sections Quantitative technique, Logical reasoning, Language comprehension and General Awareness
