National Dairy Research Institute Notified Walk-in Interviews for JRF, SRF and RA Post

National Dairy Research Institute, Karnal invited applications for recruitment to the post of Research Associates/Senior Research Fellows and Junior Research Fellows in various projects. The candidates eligible for the post can attend walk in interview from 12 August 2013 to 18 September 2013.The National Dairy Research Institute, Karnal was originally started as Imperial Institute of Animal Husbandry and Dairying in 1923 at Bangalore. It was expanded and renamed as Imperial Dairy Institute in 1936 and was known as National Dairy Research Institute after independence in 1947. It undertakes research, teaching and extension activities towards dairy development in the country.

Age limit
• Candidate’s upper age limit should not exceed 40 year for Men and 45 years for Women in case of RA and Business Development Manager on the date of Interview
• Candidate’s upper age limit should not exceed 35 year for Men and 40 years for Women in case of SRF on the date of Interview.
• Candidate’s upper age limit should not exceed 30 year for Men and 35 years for Women in case of JRF on the date of Interview.

Educational Qualifications
• Junior Research Fellow: M.Sc/ M.V.Sc Degree in Animal Biotechnology/ Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ allied Sciences, Master Degree in Microbiology/ Dairy Microbiology/ Biotechnology
• Senior Research Fellow: M.Sc/ M.Sc (Hons)/ M.V.Sc/ M.Tech in relevant subject
• Research Associate: Ph.D or M.Sc/ M.V.Sc/ M.Tech in relevant subjects with 60% marks
• Business Development Manager: Graduation from any discipline with science background along with Degree/ Diploma in Computer Sc for Technical/ Secretarial Assistance with relevant experience

Selection Process
Candidate will be selected on the basis of personal interview and past experience.
