The Director, National Institute of Biomedical Genomics (NIBMG), West Bengal issued notification inviting applications for recruitment to 14 posts – 11 contractual posts of Research Assistant (Computational), Research Associate, Technician, Research Fellow (Project–linked), Project Assistant (Level II), Senior Data Analyst, Data Analyst, Wet Lab Co-coordinator, Dry Lab Co-coordinator, Administrative Assistant (for Biomedical Genomics Centre, Kolkata), & Co-coordinator of Cohort Study and three Group ‘A’ Permanent posts of Senior Manager (Administration & Finance), Manager (Administration) & Administrative Officer - (one vacancy per post). The Contractual vacancies will initially be for a period of one year. Age limit:
Minimum: 45 years
Maximum: 55 years.

Pay Scale: Pay band 3 of Rs.15600-39100 with Grade Pay of Rs.7600
Age limit:
Minimum: 40 years
Maximum: 50 years.
14. Administrative Officer: 1 post
Pay Scale: Pay band 3 of Rs.15600-39100 with Grade Pay of Rs.6600
Age limit:
Minimum: 30 years
Maximum: 40 years.

Selection Procedure: Selection will be done on the basis of candidates’ performance in the written test/Interview.
Only short listed candidates will be called for the written test/Interview.
Candidates selected for the permanent posts will be on probation initially for a period of one year.
Travel Allowance: Outstation candidates called for interview will be paid round-trip second class railway fare on presentation of the proof of journey undertaken.
Application Fees: Candidates applying for recruitment to permanent posts are required to pay non-refundable application fee of Rs.100 through a crossed Demand Draft drawn in favour of ‘National Institute of Biomedical Genomics’ payable at Kalyani (West Bengal).
SC/ST/PH category candidates are exempted from payment of application fees.
