Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) organizes National Defence Academy & Naval Academy (NDA &NA) Examination. Through NDA Exam, candidates get admission to the courses at National Defence Academy and Naval Academy. UPSC organizes NDA Exam twice in a year, NDA Exam (I) mostly in the month of April, while NDA & NA (II) in the month of September.
Exam Paper Pattern of NDA & NA Examination
It consists of 2 Papers, General Ability Test – 150 Questions (600 marks), Mathematics – 120 questions (300 marks) and with objective type questions. The duration for each Paper is 2 Hours 30 minutes. There was the negative marking (one –third) for the wrong answer.

Paper II- Mathematics: It’s including Algebra, Matrices and Determinants, Trigonometry, Analytical Geometry of two and three dimensions, Differential Calculus, Integral Calculus and Differential Equations, Vector Algebra, Statistics and Probability.
