Eligibility Criteria for Asst. Professor & Other Posts 2016

Educational Qualification:

• Director: Postgraduate Degree/Diploma of two years full time course in any field of rehabilitation for Persons with Disabilities recognized by RCI/MCI.
• Assistant Professor (PMR): MBBS with PG degree/Diploma (full time course) from a MCI recognized Institute.
• Assistant Professor (Speech and Hearing): Post Graduate Degree (Full time course) in Speech and hearing (Recognized by RCI).

• Assistant Professor (Special Education): M. Phil in Clinical or Rehabilitation Psychology (full time course) from a RCI recognized Institute.
• Lecturer (Physiotherapy): Master Degree with M.Ed (Special Edn.) in any category (full time course) from a RCI recognized Institute with minimum of 55% marks.
• Lecturer (Occupational Therapy): Master in Physiotherapy from a recognized Institute.
• Administrative Officer: Post Graduate Degree/MBA from recognized University.
• Rehabilitation Officer (Social Work & Placement): Post Graduate Degree in Social Work/Rehabilitation work/Sociology/Psychology or equivalent from a recognized University.
• Prosthetist & Orthotist: Degree from a recognized Institute in Prosthetics/Orthotics.
• Special Educator: Commerce graduate from a recognized University with hands on knowledge of computer.
• Orientation & Mobility Instructor: Graduation with Diploma in Orientation and Mobility Instruction/ B.Ed., in Special Edn (VI)/ D.Ed., Special Edn (VI).
• Vocational Instructor: Graduation with Diploma in Vocational Training from a reputed training Institute in any disability field/D.Ed/B.Ed in Special Education.
• Clinical Assistant: B.Sc (Sp.&Hg)/BASLP/equivalent with minimum 2 years experience as Clinical or Research Assistant.CRR Registration –RCI. OR BRS(MR)/BMR/BRT/PGDDT/PGDEI/M.Sc., EI/equivalent with 2 years experience as clinical or research assistant.
• Accountant: Commerce graduate from a recognized University with hands on knowledge of computer.
• Assistant: Graduate from a recognized University with hands on knowledge of computer.
• Workshop Supervisor-cum-store Keeper: 10+2 or equivalent.
• Typist/Clerk: 10 +2 or equivalent.

Age Limit

• Director: 50 years
• Assistant Professor: 45 years
• Lecturer: 35 years
• Administrative Officer, Prosthetist & Orthotist: 40 years  
• Rehabilitation Officer (Social Work & Placement), Special Educator: 35 years
• Orientation & Mobility Instructor, Accountant: 01 Post
• Vocational Instructor, Assistant, Clinical Assistant, Workshop Supervisor-cum-store Keeper & Typist/Clerk: 30 years
