Eligibility Criteria for Staff Nurse & Other Posts
Educational Qualification:
- Staff Nurse: Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) or equivalent. Registered as Nurse or Registered as ANM or equivalent with any State Nursing Council.
- Junior Staff Nurse: 10th pass from a recognized board with Certificate Course in Auxiliary Midwife from a recognized Institute with 5 years working Experience in a recognized hospital or Institute.
- Personal Assistant: University Degree and minimum speed of 120 wpm in Shorthand and 40 wpm in Typing in English
- Lower Division Clerk: 12th Class or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board or University. A Typing speed of 30 w.p.m. in English on manual Typewriter or a typing speed of 35 w.p.m. in English on computer. (35 w.p.m. and 30 w.p.m. correspond to 10500 KDPH/9000 KDPH on an average of 5 key depressions for each word)
Pay Scale for Staff Nurse & Other Posts
- Staff Nurse: PB-2, Rs.9300-34800 + Grade Pay Rs.4600/-
- Junior Staff Nurse: PB-1, Rs.5200-20200 + Grade Pay Rs.2800/-
- Personal Assistant: PB-2, Rs.9300-34800 + Grade Pay Rs.4600/-
- Lower Division Clerk: PB-1, Rs.5200-20200 + Grade Pay Rs.1900/-
Age Limit for Staff Nurse & Other Posts
- Staff Nurse: 30 years relaxable to 40 years in case of departmental Candidates. Also age is relaxable for SC/ST candidates upto 45 years.
- Junior Staff Nurse: 18 – 28 years
- Personal Assistant: 25 years
- Lower Division Clerk: 18-27 years (relaxable for Govt. servants upto 40 years in accordance with the instructions or orders issued by the Central Govt). In case of SC/ST/ OBC candidates as per Govt. Rules.
