National Institute of Technology (NIT), Jamshedpur invited eligible candidates to appear for the Walk –in- Interview for the posts of Technical Assistants and other posts in various disciplines. Posts are purely on Temporary Basis. The eligible candidates may appear for the Walk –in- Interview for the respective posts on the allotted date and time 10 to 21 August 2016 at 09:00 AM in the concerned department or in the office of Dean (Planning & Development) or in Computer Center (whichever venue is allotted for the Interview).

Eligibility Criteria for NIT Jamshedpur Technical Assistants and Other Jobs:
Educational Qualification:
Technical Asst./ MBA Tourism: Possess Bachelor’s Degree in the respective discipline or Diploma in the appropriate discipline of Engineering.
Jr. Engineer/ Asst. Executive Engineer/ Asst. Engineer: Possess BE or B. Tech Degree in the respective discipline.
OSD Legal Services: Possess LLB or LLM.
Medical Officer: Possess MMBS Degree or equivalent.
Experience Required:
Technical Asst./ Jr. Engineer: 05 years
Asst. Executive Engineer/ Asst. Engineer: 06 years
Age Limit
Gen: as on 15 July 2016
Technical Asst./ Jr. engineer: Not exceeding 35 years
Asst. Executive Engineer: 42 years
Asst. Engineer: 36 years
OSD Legal Services/ Medical Officer: Not exceeding 63 years
OBC/ SC/ ST/ PWD & Other candidates: As per norms.
Selection Procedure for NIT Jamshedpur Technical Assistants and Other Jobs:
The short listed candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in the Walk –in- Interview/ Personal Interview, which will be conducted by the administration.
