OPSC invited online applications for recruitment of Civil Judges 2013

Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) invited online applications for filling up 24 posts of Civil Judges in Odisha Judicial Service under Law Department. Interested candidates should apply online till 10 April 2013.

Age Limit (as on 1 August 2013)

Minimum: 23 years
Maximum: 35 years
(Born between 2 August 1978 and 1 August 1990, both days inclusive)
(Upper age limit relaxable by 5 years for SC / ST / S.E.B.C / OH / Female candidates)

Maximum age limit for Departmental candidates: 39 years

Educational Qualification: Law Graduate

A Superintendent or a Ministerial Officer in the High Court or any Civil or Criminal Court sub-ordinate to the High Court or an Assistant Law Officer or Translator of the Law Department of Government is also eligible to apply, subject to fulfilling the required conditions.

Pay Scale: Rs.27700-770-33090-920-40450-1080-44770.

Selection Process: Selection can be done on the basis of candidates’ performance in written examination (preliminary and Main) and Interview.

Application Fee: Candidates need to deposit Rs.300 as application fee, in cash, in any branch of State Bank of India (SBI) through a fee payment challan available online, till 12 April 2013.

(SC/ ST of Odisha & Persons with disability are exempted from payment of fees).

How to Apply: Interested eligible candidates can apply through OPSC website www.opsconline.gov.in till 10 April 2013 (2359 hours) after which the link will be disabled.

On successful completion of the online application, a unique Registration ID will be generated by the system. Candidates should take a print out of the online submitted form with unique Registration ID and retain it for future reference.

Candidates qualifying the preliminary written exam will be required to send the print out of the online submitted application along with it along with OPSC copy of fee payment challan and copies of specified documents/ certificates through Registered Post / Speed Post / Courier to “The Special Secretary, Odisha Public Service Commission, 19, Dr. P.K. Parija Road, Cuttack-753001” in an envelope, super-scribed “Application for the Post of Civil Judges in Odisha Judicial Service 2013”
