Eligibility Criteria for Assistant Professor (Medical Parasitology) Job

Educational Qualification:

For Medical:

a. A medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or Part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (persons possessing qualifications included in Part II of the third schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub section (3) of the Section 13 of the Act.).

b. A postgraduate qualification i.e. MD (Microbiology) of an Indian University or an equivalent degree recognized as such by the Medical Council of India.

c. The candidate must be registered with the State Medical Council/MCI. 3 years experience teaching and/or research experience in a recognized Institution in the subject of specialty concerned after obtaining the qualifying degree of MD (Microbiology).

For Non-Medical:

a) M.Sc. (Life Sciences/Biological Sciences like Microbial Biotechnology/Microbiology/Biotechnology/Molecular Biology/Biosciences/Zoology).

b) Ph.D. degree in the subject concerned (Parasitology/Microbiology) of an Indian University or its equivalent Ph.D. degree from a foreign University recognized as such by the University Grants Commission. 3 years experience teaching and/or research experience in a recognized Institution in the subject of specialty concerned (Parasitology/Microbiology) after obtaining the qualifying the Postgraduate degree i.e. Ph.D.
