Ques. Is there a provision for imparting Pre-Examination Training to the candidates applying for Common Written Examination [CWE] 2012 for selection of personnel for Clerical Cadre posts in Public Sector Banks to be conducted online by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection in December, 2012?
Ans. Yes, the IBPS proposes to impart Pre-Examination Training to a limited number of candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribes / Minority Communities / Ex-Servicemen / Persons With Disabilities for Common Written Examination [CWE] 2012 to be conducted online by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection in December, 2012 for selection of personnel to Clerical Cadre posts in Public Sector Banks. The training would be imparted at 62 different centers. They are:

All candidates applying for the examination, who wish to avail the facility of Pre-Examination Training, should opt for the same by filling the relevant column in the On-line application form.
The training will be imparted free of cost, however, candidate will have to bear all the other expenses like travelling cost, boarding & lodging cost etc, for attending the pre-examination training programme at the designated Centers.
• Depending on the response and administrative feasibility, IBPS reserves the right to cancel any of the Pre- Examination Training Centre and/ or add some other Centre and/or make alternate arrangements for the Pre- Examination Training programme.
• By merely attending the Pre-Examination Training no candidate acquires any right to be selected in any of the participating Public Sector Banks.
