Punjab PSC Job Notification:
Punjab Public Service Commission (Punjab PSC) invited applications from eligible candidates for Punjab Civil Service (Judicial Branch) Exam 2016 to be conducted jointly by Punjab Public Service Commission and Hon’ble High Court of Punjab and Haryana for recruitment of 121 Civil Judge (Junior Division)-cum Judicial Magistrate Posts.
The eligible candidates can apply online to the post through the prescribed format along with other necessary documents on or before 26 October 2016.

Name of the Post: Civil Judge (Junior Division)-cum Judicial Magistrate- 121 Posts
Pay Scale: Rs. 27, 700-44, 700 or such may be revised from time-to-time.
Eligibility Criteria for Punjab Civil Service (Judicial Branch) Exam 2016:
Educational Qualification: Degree of Bachelor of Law of any University incorporated by Law in India or a Degree of Bachelor of Law of Punjab University (undivided), The Dacca University, The Tribhuwan University, Nepal. The Sind University or of the Rangoon or Mandalay University in Burma, or should be a Barrister of England or Ireland or member of the Faculty of Advocates of Scotland. The expression "Degree of Bachelor of Laws" means a degree entitling a candidate to be enrolled as an advocate under the Advocate Act, 1961 and the rules made there under.
Age Limit: 21-37 years
Selection Procedure for Punjab Civil Service (Judicial Branch) Exam 2016:
The selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of the Preliminary Exam, Mains Exam and Viva Voce which would be conducted by the Commission.
