It has more than 5000 offices including 5 overseas branches. The bank has its Corporate Office in New Delhi and supervises 65 Circle Offices under which the branches function. Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification: Graduate with minimum 60% marks (55% for SC/ ST/ PWD) or equivalent qualification from the university/ Institute recognized by the Government of India from UGC recognized University AND working knowledge of MS Office.
IBPS Score Requirement: Total Weighted Standard Score (TWS) will be minimum 138 for General Category, 125 for OBC category, and 113 for Reserved Category (ie SC/ ST/ PWD)
Age Limit (as on 1 July 2011): Minimum 20 years, Maximum 28 years
Application Fee: Fee for SC/ ST/ PWD category candidates is Rs 50 and fee for General/ OBC/ Ex-servicemen category students is Rs 200.
The fees need to be paid in cash at any branch of Punjab National Bank. Before depositing the fee, the candidate must download a copy of the Cash voucher from the bank's website.
Pay Scale: Rs 14500 - 600/7-18700-700/2-20100-800/7-25700 plus DA, HRA, CCA as per rules in force from time to time.
Selection Procedure: Selection for the post of Management Trainees will be made on the basis of performance in Common Written Examination (CWE) for the post of Management Trainees held during 2011 conducted by IBPS and Personal Interview (100 marks). Candidates have to obtain minimum 40 marks to qualify in the Personal Interview.
