Railway Recruitment 2016, 270 Guard and ASM Vacancies, Graduates are Eligible to Apply

Railway Recruitment Cell, Northern Railway is hiring for the posts of Goods Guard and ASM. RRCNR invited applications from the serving regular employee with graduate degree for the recruitment against the 270 vacancies of Goods Guard and ASM, through the General Departmental Competitive Examination (GDCE). The candidates eligible for the post can apply online in prescribed format on or before 20 January 2017.

Eligibility Criteria for Guard and ASM Posts

Educational/Technical Qualification & Experience:

Goods Guard: candidate should have minimum Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent from a recognised university. Candidate should be an serving regular Railway employee of Northern Railway (except RPF/RPSF Personnel), Rail Coach Factory Kapurthala, Modern Coach Factory Raibareilly and Diesel Component Workshop Patiala who are drawing regular Grade Pay not more than 2800/-(Excluding MACP) are eligible.

ASM: candidate should have minimum Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent from a recognised university. Additionally Diploma in Rail Transport and Management from the Institute of Rail Transport. Candidate should be an serving regular Railway employee of Northern Railway (except RPF/RPSF Personnel), Rail Coach Factory Kapurthala, Modern Coach Factory Raibareilly and Diesel Component Workshop Patiala who are drawing regular Grade Pay not more than 2800/-(Excluding MACP) are eligible.

Age Limit: candidate should not be more than 42 years of age, (relaxation is allowed as per the norms.)

Selection Process for Guard and ASM Posts

The selection will be on the basis of merit in the written examination, Pschyco Test/Aptitude Test, Medical Examination and Document verification etc.
