Eligibility Criteria for Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan Assistant Professor, Associate Professor & Other posts:

Educational/Technical Qualification & Experience:

Professor: PhD in the Baudh Darshan subject and published work of high quality, actively engaged in research with evidence of published work with minimum 10 publications as books and/or research/policy papers.

Associate Professor: PhD & Master Degree in Sankhyayoga subject, Nyaya subject, Jain Darshan subject, Dharmashastra subject and minimum eight years experience of teaching and/or research in an academic/research position equivalent to that of Assistant Professor.

Assistant Professor: Master degree in the Jyotisha subject, Sahitya subject, Advait Vedanta subject, Sarva Darshana subject, Vyakarana subject or Master Degree in Arts/Sciences/Humanities and must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET.

Assistant Director (Physical Education): Master degree in Physical Education, Sports Science and must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET.

Controller of Examination: Post Graduate Degree with 15 years experience as Assistant Professor.

Project Officer: Acharya or Master Degree in Sanskrit with 5 years teaching experience.

Deputy Controller (Examination): Master Degree in Sanskrit or an equivalent Oriental degree with 5 years experience.

Deputy Director (Academic): Master Degree in Sanskrit or an equivalent Oriental degree with 5 years experience as Assistant Professor.

Assistant Director (Correspondence Course): Master Degree in Sanskrit with 3 years experience as Assistant Professor in teaching/research/Lesson Planning.

Accounts Officer (Internal Audit): Master degree in Commerce or M.B.A in Finance with 3 years supervisory experience in works related to Finance/Accounts.

Section Officer: Graduate in any discipline with minimum three years experience as Assistant.

Curator: Acharya or M.A. in Sanskrit or equivalent qualifications, Degree in Library Science or post graduate diploma in Archaeology/Museology, Knowledge of Manuscriptology with three years experience in recognized oriental manuscript Library.

Stenographer Grade-I: Shastri or Graduate with 3 years experience of Stenography or equivalent and Skill test norms on Computer Dictation 10 minutes @ 100 w.p.m., Transcription: 40 minutes (English) or 55 minutes (Hindi).

Stenographer Grade-II: 12^th passed or equivalent qualification and Skill test norms on Computer Dictation 10 minutes @ 80 w.p.m., Transcription 50 minutes (English) or 65 minutes (Hindi).
