RBI has conducted Grade B Officers (Phase I) exam 2016 on 04 September 2016. The exam was conducted on 21 & 22 November 2015 last year. RBI has kept exam pattern almost same for both the years. The phase I exam consist 200 questions comprises of 4 sections which includes General Awareness, Reasoning (Verbal), English Language, & Quantitative Aptitude with composite time of 120 minutes.

General Awareness: This section was easy and scoring. The majority of question asked from basic banking and current affairs (National and International) in this section. This section also include some questions on sports, subsidiaries of RBI, Award, Govt. Scheme and projects, Headquarter of banks, books and authors, Capital and Currencies of country, Important days, Census, International Organisation like world bank etc.
Reasoning (Verbal): This section was moderate to difficult.
