The Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE), Chennai, Tamil Nadu will declare Tamil Nadu Board HSC Results 2013 on 9 May 2013. Candidates who had appeared for the examination that was conducted till 27 March 2013 and are anxiously waiting for their HSC (12th Class) Result should be ready with their Roll Code and Roll Number to fetch their result.

The Tamil Nadu Board of Higher Secondary Education (TNBHSE) had conducted Tamil Nadu Class 12th Examination till 27 March 2013.
Tamil Nadu Board of Secondary Education was set up in 1910 functions under the purview of the Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE), Chennai, Tamil Nadu. The board gauges student's progress by conducting two board examinations in a year- one examination at the end of class 10 and the other at the end of class 12. The scores from the class 12 board examinations are used by universities to determine eligibility and as a cut-off for admissions into their programmes.
