Rural Electrification Corporation Limited (REC) is a Schedule 'A' Navaratna Public Sector Enterprise under the administrative control of Ministry of Power. The company, with net worth of over Rs14000 crores, is engaged in financing and promotion of generation, transmission & distribution projects throughout India. It also has a Training Institute 'Central Institute for Rural Electrification (CIRE)', in Hyderabad, which caters to the training and development needs of Power Sector employees both from India & abroad.
The Company issued notification for recruitment to 19 posts in various disciplines. Interested candidates can send their applications till 28 February 2013.

The cut-off date for ascertaining age and experience will be 28.02.2013.
Application Fee: Candidates belonging to General and OBC-NC category need to pay an application fee of Rs.500 through a bank DD drawn in favour of ‘Rural Electrification Corporation Limited’, payable at New Delhi.
Selection Procedure: Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in the Interview. Those called for interview shall have the option to speak / answer in Hindi.
All appointments will be subject to medical fitness as per REC rules.
No correspondence will be entertained from the candidates not called for Interviews

On the envelope, candidates should write: ‘Application for the post of ______’
Travel Allowance: Outstation candidates called for interview will be reimbursed - single to & fro economy airfare or AC I class rail fare by the shortest route for the post in the grades of E-7 & E-8, single to and fro AC II tier rail fare by the shortest route for the posts in the grades of E-2 to E-6 subject to submission of proof of journey and production of all original documents for verification upon completion of Interview.
One candidate should apply for one post only.
If a candidate applies for more than one post than the REC reserves the right to consider any one application at the discretion of REC management.
The incumbents are liable to be transferred/ posted anywhere in India.
