Climate catastrophes are due to man’s wild construction

Humans started their life in the lap of nature learning everything from it. In the process they started observing terms and conditions of mutual benefits with all the other species created by nature. There is no doubt that the humans are the best creation of nature owing to capability. Despite the fact that there are numerous species on earth, but none of them have a capability to become master of others, only except the humans because they can tap the resources of nature. Nature has raised humans like a mother, but instead they we are trying our level best to become the master of nature and it is indeed the biggest reason behind many natural disasters such as those happened in Uttarakhand, Nepal, Japan and many more in recent times.

Humans started their needs with food. Their desires from nature grew more and more, owing the fact of industrialization and they started cutting the forests and excavating the ground for development. The fast growing population needs home for living, due to which we are turning forests and fertile lands into the jungles of concrete, which in turn are drastically harming the nature. We get metals and crude resources by excavating the ground but humans have to understand that our earth is like a cricket ball and resources are like its serving thread and more tampering is always dangerous to us.

The factories and industries developed by Human are producing many green house gases like CO2, CFC etc., which are harming the ozone layer ultimately causing many types of irregularities. Scientists have discovered that high exploitation of mineral resources by humans is the major causes behind so many earthquakes we have seen in recent times.

Now a day our scientists have also agreed to the fact that global warming is the cause behind many disasters like Irene, Katrina, Rita and Tsunami. Today sea levels are rising because of the global warming, which happens due to the use of radioactive substances by humans for many purposes like electricity and Atomic energy. The smoke coming out of the factories emits carbon that ultimately leads to the increase in the global temperature.

Humans are the biggest user of natural resources, but now a day the needs of humans keep on growing that could be described as greed and it is endless. When we hear or see any disaster, the very first thought that comes into our mind is the climatic change that is happening at a rapid pace. Numerous debates takes place resulting in hundredth of pledges, but still there is a vast gap between the requirement and the real progress that is going on. Mere talks and debates would not help change the scenario; it is the stringent action that is the need of the hour. Plans supported by implementations backed by monitoring should get the call from entire world otherwise our coming generations are in grave danger. If we don’t act now, there would be no one to be called as generation itself.
