Sentence Rearrangement Quiz based on ‘The Hindu’ for IBPS PO Mains & IPPB exam

    It is common in the recent times that banking entrance examinations are based on passages on economic and social issues, business and finance, banking etc taken from famous newspapers such as The Hindu, The Economic Times, The Business Standard, The Business Line, The Times of India etc. We, the banking team of Jagranjosh.com, are presenting to you two passages for Sentence Arrangement questions taken from ‘The Hindu’ (dated October 18th and 19th 2016).     Question (1-5): Rearrange the following six sentences A, B, C, D, E and F in order to form a meaningful paragraph and then answer the questions that follow.

    A. This is particularly true for the neighbor of India, China as it emits more than double the amount of HFC emitted by India and it is significant information since only these two developing countries contribute towards global emission of HFC.

    B. And that is why, China will start phasing out the emission of HFC from the year 2024 whereas for India, the same is 2028 and India has announced that it is going to achieve maximum reduction in the year 2047.

    F. It is a great step taken by the leading world countries regarding phasing out the use of hydro-fluorocarbons in order to curb the menace of global warming in the coming decades.

    Question (6-10): Rearrange the following six sentences A, B, C, D, E and F in order to form a meaningful paragraph and then answer the questions that follow

    A. It is to be seen, however, the way the government deals with the issues with neighboring countries on a bilateral level because that is what is more necessary in case of disputes concerning two particular nations.
