Saha Institute of Nuclear Physics (SINP), Kolkata Jobs Notification: SINP, Kolkata invited applications for 09 various posts under Special Recruitment Drive for filling up of backlog vacancies of Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) and ST/OBCs and Unreserved posts. Eligibility Criteria for Technician & Other Posts 2016

Educational Qualification & Experience:

• Technician-B (BM-Civil) – Secondary exam with 60% marks and 4 years experience
• Engineer-D (Workshop) – First class BE/B Tech with 7 years experience or M.Tech. with 5 years of experience.
• Technician-C (Condensed Matter Physics) – Secondary exam with 60% marks and 9 years experience.
• Scientific Assistant-B (Biophysics & Structural Genomics) –B.Sc. with 60% marks or B.Sc. (Hons) with minimum 55% marks.
• Scientific Assistant-B (BM-Civil) & Scientific Assistant-B (BM-Electrical) – Diploma/Licentiate in Civil/Electrical Engg (3 years after secondary) with 6 years of experience.
• Scientific Officer-D (Library) – 19 years post qualification experience with 50% marks in B.Sc. and at least 60% marks in BLIS or equivalent Diploma, OR, 13 years post qualification experience with 50% marks in B.Sc. (H) and at least 60% marks in BLIS or equivalent Diploma, OR 13 years post qualification experience with 50% marks in B.Sc. and at least 60% marks in MLIS or equivalent Diploma,
• LDC (Adm) – Graduate or H.S. passed in English and Maths with at least 3 years experience in routine office work and a typing speed of 35 w.p.m. in English corresponding to typing speed of 10500 KDPH o an average of 5 key depressions for each word.

Age Limit

Age Limit (as on 17.05.2016):-

For Technician-B/C & LDC -  18-27 Years

For Scientific Assistant- 18-32 years

Engineer-D & Scientific Officer-D– 18-42 years

Relaxations:  Relaxation in upper age limited for OBC/SC/ST/PH/Ex-servicemen as per Govt. of India rules.
