Union HRD Minister, Smriti Zubin Irani on Monday laid the foundation of seven new government schools in Delhi.
The school buildings will be constructed at an estimated cost of around Rs 110 crore by the Public Works Department within two years, according to the Delhi Education Department.
Of the seven schools, two belong to West District, four South West district and one to South East district.
Irani focused on the need to develop the educational infrastructure in the capital so that the increasing number of students get enrolled.
