South Indian Bank Recruitment of Probationary Legal Officers 2012

The South Indian Bank Ltd. invites applications from Indian nationals having one year of work experience in Scheduled Commercial Banks in the Scale 1/ officer cadre for filling up vacancies of Probationary Legal Officers (Scale I) on a probation of 2 years.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification: LLB (from recognized university under 5/ 3 regular course) with at least 55% marks (Aggregate).

Work Experience (as on 31 December 2011): Candidates with experience at Bar or other Banks/ FIs as Legal Officers will be given preference.

Age Limit (as on 31 December 2011): Minimum 21 years and Maximum 28 years

Pay Scale: Rs 14,500 - 600/7 - 18700 - 700/2 - 20100 - 800/7 - 25,700 plus other benefits.

Application Fee: Application fee for General/ OBC Category candidates is Rs 500 and for SC/ ST category candidates is Rs 250.

The fee needs to be paid by means of demand draft (crossed A/C payee.) favouring The South Indian Bank Ltd. Payable at Thrissur (Kerala) by the short listed candidates while appearing for the written test.

Selection Procedure: Initial short listing of applications will be done by the Bank. The candidates thus short listed will be called for a Written Test at the centres fixed by the Bank. Candidates will then be selected on the basis of Group Discussion and Personal Interview.
