SRCC Also Withdraws its Cutoff List Unlike Other DU colleges

Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC) has issued its first cutoff list for commerce and economics on Monday but due to FYUP issue, it has withdrawns its list unlike other DU colleges. The change of decision was visible in some couple of hours after the college issued their first cutoff list for commerce and economics.

The principal of the college deeply regretted for the inconvenience caused for such flip of decision. When asked about such a change in decision, P C Jain, principal of SRCC stated that “For the last three days I've been trying to contact the university and have got no reply. No one is willing to talk. I didn't get the message about the principals' meeting either and by the time I had heard of it-well after 5pm - the list was already sent.

The college which is ranked as one of the best in the country for higher studies in commerce and economics has also issued a notice that expressed regret for the inconvenience caused.

The open war between UGC and DU over the FYUP offered by the university has created much confusion among the colleges and the students. All the colleges under DU have decided to defer the admission process until the issue is resolved and a clear guideline comes out. SRCC has also joined the list and decided to defer the admission to the B.Com (H), and BA (H) 1st year till further orders. Earlier the cut off were set as 97.5 per cent for general category students for admission to its Commerce course and 97.75% for economics course.
