The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), in their official website have mentioned that they will put all the feedbacks and opinions received from the students and teachers, regarding the mathematics examination of this year and put it in front of subject experts committee. The board has also made sure that remedial measures will be taken before the evaluation process begins.
Earlier, students who take up the class 12 mathematics examination on 14 March under the board complained that the question paper was very tricky, tough and time consuming. After coming out of the examination hall, many called the questions were of the IIT entrance level and were tough to solve in the stipulated time frame. Some of the students claimed that the questions were majorly from the supplementary books which were not really affordable for many students. Some of the questions were from the books of RD Sharma.
The criticism surrounding a tough paper was also felt last year, when the CBSE came up with a tough Mathematics paper. Due to the difficulty level of the paper, many students struggled to get good marks in the paper. The marking scheme had to be reworked by the board last year as well, when the evaluation process of the answer sheets was on. There was recommendation from subject experts committee to revise the marking scheme for the particular paper. Students will expect something like that this year as well.
Before the examiner has a score for you, you must have yours.
