Tata Institute of Fundamental Research Notified Recruitment to Various Posts 2013

Tata Institute of Fundamental Research invited application for recruitment of Laboratory Assistant and Work Assistant Posts 2013. The candidates eligible for the post can apply through prescribed format before 6 June 2013. The Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR) was founded on 1 June 1945. It is a research institution in India dedicated to basic research in mathematics and the sciences. TIFR conducts research primarily in natural sciences, mathematics, biological sciences and theoretical computer science and is considered one of the outstanding research centres in India.

Age Limit

• The upper age should be below 33 years for Post 1 & 3 as on 1 January 2013.
• The upper age should be below 31 years for Post 2 as on 1 January 2013.

Educational Qualification

• Laboratory Assistant (B): S.S.C. or equivalent. Two years ITI in the trade of Electronics or three years NCTVT in the trade of Electronics with minimum 60% marks
• Laboratory Assistant (B): SSC or equivalent.  Two years ITI in the trade of Fitting with minimum 60% marks
• Work Assistant (B): SSC or equivalent. 
  

Pay Scale

• Laboratory Assistant (B): Rs.5200-20200 + Grade Pay Rs.2000/-
• Laboratory Assistant (B): Rs.5200-20200 + Grade Pay Rs.2000/-
• Work Assistant (B): Rs.5200-20200 + Grade Pay Rs.1800/-
  

Selection Process

Candidate will be selected on the basis of performance in interview.
