Post it, the officials will open the application form correction window from May 3 to 4, 2024.
TN SET, also known as Tamil Nadu State Eligibility Test, is a state-level examination conducted to assess candidates' eligibility for the position of Assistant Professor in universities or colleges in Tamil Nadu. It is conducted for 45 subjects and divided into two parts: Paper 1 and Paper 2.

Who are Eligible for TN SET 2024 Exam?
Before applying for the TN SET exam, candidates must ensure that they fulfill any of the following criteria mentioned below:
- Completion of a Master's Degree or equivalent from a UGC-recognized university with at least 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/PwD/Third gender).
- Candidates pursuing or awaiting Master's degree results can apply provisionally, but must pass with specified marks within two years of TNSET result.
- Ph.D. holders completing Master's before September 19, 1991, get a 5% relaxation in marks. It's advisable to choose your Post-Graduation subject for the Test. If not listed, consider UGC-NET/joint CSIR-UGC Test.
- Those with post-graduate diplomas/certificates should verify equivalence with AIU, New Delhi.
