Toonz Academy Announces Scholarships for a One Year Animation Course

Toonz Academy, Technopark-based training division of Toonz Animation India Pvt. Ltd. is providing G. A. Menon Memorial Scholarships for Advanced Diploma in Digital Arts and Animation course. The course is to begin from January 2014.

The scholarships can be availed by those candidates who have obtained a Bachelor Fine Arts (BFA), Kerala Government Technical Education degree in Painting & Drawing and Fine Arts.

The Toonz Academy was founded by G.A. Menon, he was the chairman of the animation institute. Being a visionary hebacked the origin of Kerala's industrialization.

The course duration is one year and main areas of curriculum will comprise - character modelling, background, organic character texturing, lighting, character rigging, character animation and particle effects, dynamics, and compositing.

After finishing of the course, students performing extremely well will get an opportunityto work as an intern at the Toonz Animation Studio for full 3 months.

27th Dec 2013 is the last application submission date.After screening of the applications, an expert panel of creative consultants from Toonzshall call for a personal interview and aptitude test, to finalize the reward of the scholarships.
