1. India and ADB sign $200 million loan for water supply, sanitation and Others
The Government of India and the Asian Development Bank (ADB) have signed a $200 million loan for upgradation of water supply, sanitation, urban mobility, and other urban services in the state of Uttarakhand.

- Additionally, it will improve water supply delivery in four cities - Champawat, Kichha, Kotdwar, and Vikasnagar.
- In Haldwani, the project will develop 16 km of climate-resilient roads.

2. ‘Kaveri Meets Ganga’ - A Vibrant Celebration of Indian Cultural Heritage
The Kaveri Meets Ganga festival, a hallmark of cultural celebration under the Ministry of Culture’s Amrit Parampara series was conducted at Kartavya Path and CCRT Dwarka.
- Minister of Food Processing Industries Shri Chirag Paswan and Minister of State for Law and Justice Shri Arjun Ram Meghwal graced the event at Kartavya Path.
- The function was jointly organized by the Ministry of Culture’s autonomous institutions—Sangeet Natak Akademi, Kalakshetra, and CCRT.

3. C-DOT and IIT Roorkee signs agreement
Centre for Development of Telematics (C-DOT), under Department of Telecommunications (DoT) has signed an agreement with the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee (IIT Roorkee) for the development of "Millimeter Wave Transceiver for 5G Rural Connectivity ".
- Out of many goals, the project has been envisaged to contribute to generate Intellectual Property Rights (IPRs) and develop a skilled workforce to support the emerging millimetre wave/Sub-THz technology for 5G/6G.
4. The Maha Kumbh Mela 2025
Kumbh Mela, the world’s largest peaceful gathering which not only engages in a series of spiritual rituals but also embarks on an odyssey that transcends physical, cultural, and even spiritual boundaries, will be conducted in Prayagraj from January 13 to February 26, 2025.
- The Maha Kumbh Mela is celebrated four times over a course of 12 years.
- This Maha Kumbh, the sacred event, rotates between four locations in India-Haridwar, Ujjain, Nashik, and Prayagraj.

5. MAHASAGAR-High-level virtual interaction Conducted
The third edition of the high-level virtual interaction MAHASAGAR was conducted by the Indian Navy.

- It was started by the Indian Navy in 2023 which used to conduct bi-annually.
