- Under the C-295 program, a total of 56 aircrafts are to be delivered out of which 16 are being delivered directly by Airbus from Spain and remaining 40 are to be made in India.
- Tata Advanced Systems Ltd is responsible for making these 40 aircrafts in India.

Union Minister of Commerce and Industry, Shri Piyush Goyal, to visit the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to enhance economic ties and participate in the 8th Future Investment Initiative.

5.‘Abhay ’, the Anti-Submarine Warfare Shallow Water Craft (ASW SWC) Launched
‘Abhay ’, the seventh Anti-Submarine Warfare Shallow Water Craft (ASW SWC) being built by M/s GRSE for the Indian Navy, was launched at M/s L&T, Kattupalli.
- In keeping with maritime tradition, Mrs Sandhya Pendharkar, President NWWA, Eastern Region, launched the ship.
- The Arnala class of ships will replace the in-service Abhay class ASW Corvettes of the Indian Navy.
- The ASW SWC ships are approx 77 m long, with a maximum speed of 25 knots & endurance of 1800 NM.
- The launch of Abhay highlights the nation’s resolve towards Aatmanirbhar Bharat in shipbuilding.
