UGC NET Application Form 2025: The National Testing Agency has started the registration process for the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) 2025 for the June session. Interested candidates satisfying the eligibility criteria can now apply online through the official website, ugcnet.nta.ac.in with applications accepted until May 7. The last date to pay application fee is May 8. The application correction window will be available on May 9 and 10.

Who Can Apply for UGC NET?

Before applying online, candidates must ensure they fulfil the following parameters:

1. Educational Qualification: A Master's degree or equivalent with a minimum of 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/OBC/PwD/Transgender categories) from a recognized university.

2. Age Limit: There is no upper age limit for Assistant Professor post. However, candidates applying for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) must not exceed the age limit of 30 years.

3. Four-Year Undergraduate Degree: Candidates having a 4-year undergraduate degree with a minimum of 75% marks in aggregate may apply for JRF and PhD admissions, but not for Assistant Professor positions.
