UGC NET June 2024 Notification OUT: The National Testing Agency (NTA) released the notification for UGC NET Exam 2024 for the June session. Candidates can apply through “Online” mode only by accessing the website: https://ugcnet.nta.ac.in/; https://ugcnet.ntaonline.in. The Application Form is available from 20 April to 10 May 2024. The exam determines the eligibility of the applicants who want to apply for a Junior Research Fellowship and want to be appointed as Assistant Professor, and want admission to ‘Ph.D.’ and in Indian universities and colleges.
What is New in UGC NET June 2024
According to the Chairperson of the UGC Grant Commission, this time candidates who are pursuing four four-year/eight-semester bachelor's degree programme and are in the last semester or year may also apply for the exam.
UGC NET June Exam 2024
Those who successfully submit their application will be called to appear for UGC NET Exam 2024 which is scheduled to be held on 16 June 2024. The duration of the exam is 180 minutes.

UGC NET June Eligibility Criteria 2024
- Master’s degree with atleast 55% marks (50% marks for reserved categories) in Humanities and Social Science (including languages), Computer Science and Applications, Electronic Science etc. from a recognized university.
- Candidates who are pursuing their Master’s degree or equivalent course or candidates who have appeared for their qualifying Master’s degree (final year) examination and whose result is still awaited or candidates whose qualifying examinations have been delayed may also apply for this test.
UGC NET June Exam Age Limit 2024
The age of the candidate should not be more than 30 years.
UGC NET June Exam Pattern 2024
The mode of the exam will be offline. There will be two papers: Paper 1 and Paper 2. The division of the questions and marks are given below:

Steps to apply for UGC NET June Exam 2024
The candidates can apply online with the help of the steps given below:
Step 1: Go to the official website National Testing Agency @ugcnet.nta.ac.in.
Step 2: Register yourself if not registered by clicking on ‘New Candidate Register Here’
Step 3: After Registration, login with the system-generated Application Number and pre-created Password
Step 4: Now, fill the application by providing personal details, applying for the Paper, choosing the Examination Cities, details of Educational Qualifications, and uploading the images Form: and documents (if any).
Step 5: Pay the examination fee. The fee can be submitted only online through Net Banking, Credit Card, Debit Card, UPI, or Paytm Services. Processing charges and GST as applicable are chargeable to the candidate (in addition to the examination fee) by the concerned Bank/Payment Gateway Integrator..
Step 6: Submit this application form by clicking the ‘Submit’ button.

UGC NET June Result 2024
UGC will release the marks of the candidate on its official website. The date regarding the result will be intimate later.
