Union Bank of India Recruitment of Probationary Officer 2011

Union Bank of India was established on 11th November 1919 with its headquarters in the city of Bombay now known as Mumbai. The Bank has invited applications from eligible candidates for the post of Probationary Officers who have taken Common Written Examination for Probationary Officer/ Management Trainees conducted by IBPS and have a valid Score Card issued by IBPS.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• The candidate should be a graduate in any discipline from a recognised university with minimum 55% marks. (For candidates belonging to SC/ST/PC category minimum 50% marks are required). Preferably with a Diploma in Banking & Finance (DBF) from the Indian Institute of Banking & Finance (IIBF), AND
• Candidates should be Qualified in the Common Written Examination conducted by IBPS and should be holding a valid score card issued by IBPS AND
• A Certificate for having completed a Course in Computer Awareness & Office Automation for duration of minimum 60 hours from a reputed Computer Training Institute, which will be waived where 'Computers' is a part of the curriculum at the Graduation/ Post-Graduation Level.

Age Limit (as on 1 July 2011): Minimum 21 years, Maximum 30 years

Application Fee: Fee for SC/ ST/ PWD/ Ex- Servicemen candidates is Rs 50 and fee for other category students is Rs 250.

The fees need to be paid in cash in the form of challan available on the bank's website through CBS/ NEFT at any of the branches of Union Bank of India.

Pay Scale: Rs 14500 - 600/7-18700-700/2-20100-800/7-25700 plus DA, HRA, CCA as per rules in force from time to time.

Selection Procedure: The candidates will be selected through a Personal Interview or any other mode of selection to be decided by the competent authority.

The bank reserves the right to call only those candidates who have sufficiently high IBPS score in CWE for interview.
