Eligibility Criteria for UPSC Engineering Services Examination 2012
Educational Qualification: The candidate must have obtained a degree in Engineering from a University incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other Educational Institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as Universities under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 OR Equivalent
Age Limit (as on 1 January 2012): Minimum 21 years; Below 30 years
Selection Procedure: Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in the Written Examination and the Personality Test conducted by the authoritative body.
Pattern of the UPSC Engineering Services Examination 2012
The Examination shall be conducted according to the following plan
- Part I: The Written Examination will comprise of two sections, i) Objective Type Questions and ii) Conventional Paper
- Part II: Candidates who qualify the written examination will undergo the Personality Test of 200 marks
How to Apply for the UPSC Engineering Services Examination 2012
Candidates are required to apply Online using the Website www.upsconline.nic.in by paying a fee of Rs 100 either by remitting the money in any branch of SBI by cash, or by using net banking or by using any Visa/ Master Credit/ Debit Card.
Note: SC/ ST/ Female/ PH candidates are exempted from the payment of Application Fee
