Eligibility Criteria for Faculty Posts
Educational/Technical Qualification & Experience:
Professor: candidate should have completed PhD in concerned/allied/relevant discipline and should have minimum 10 Research publications as books and/or research/policy papers. Candidate should have minimum of ten years of Industrial/ Teaching/Research / experience in University/College.
Associate Professor : candidate should have completed Master’s Degree with minimum 55 % or equivalent and PhD in concerned/allied/relevant discipline and should have minimum 05 Research publications as books and/or research/policy papers. Candidate should have minimum of 08 years of Industrial/ Teaching/Research / experience in University/College.
Assistant Professor: candidate should have completed Master’s Degree with minimum 55 % or equivalent in relevant subject from a recognize university and should have completed National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET, alternatively , PhD /M.Phil.
Professor (Engineering & Technology): First class at Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in the appropriate branch of Science/Engineering and Technology and Ph.D. in concerned discipline. Candidate should have minimum of 10 years of Industrial/ Teaching/Research / experience in University/College.
Associate Professor (CS/IT): candidate should have completed B.E./B.Tech. and M.E./M.Tech. in relevant subject with First Class or equivalent either in B.E./B.Tech. or M.E./M.Tech. (or) M.C.A. /M.Sc. (Computer Science or Mathematics) and M.E./M.Tech. in relevant subject with first class and PhD. Candidate should have minimum of 05 years of Industrial/ Teaching/Research / experience in University/College.
Assistant Professor (IT/CS): candidate should have completed B.E./B.Tech. and M.E./M.Tech. in relevant subject with First Class or equivalent either in B.E./B.Tech. or M.E./M.Tech. (or) M.C.A./M.Sc.(Computer Science or Mathematics) and M.E./M.Tech. in relevant subject with first class and should have completed National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET, alternatively , PhD /M.Phil.
