University of Jammu Recruitment 2016 for 40 Professor Posts

University of Jammu invited applications for recruitment to the post of Professor, Associate Professor Assistant Professor, Librarian, Deputy Librarian, and Director Posts. The candidates eligible for the post can apply through prescribed format on or before 27 May 2016.

Under University of Jammu Recruitment 2016 out of total 40 posts, 13 posts are for Professor, 14 posts for Associate Professor, 08 posts for Assistant Professor, 02 posts for Librarian, 01 for librarian, 01 post for PTI, 02 for deputy and for Assistant Director and 01 for Director.

 Eligibility for Professor: candidate should be a Ph.D in concerned / allied/relevant discipline, published work of high quality with minimum 10 publications, and should have minimum 10 Years teaching/research/industrial experience.

Eligibility for Associate Professor:  candidate should be a Ph.D in concerned / allied/relevant discipline, and master’s degree with atleast 55 % or equivalent published work of high quality with minimum 05 publications, and should have minimum 08 Years teaching/research/industrial experience.

Eligibility for Assistant Professor: candidate should be a Ph.D in concerned / allied/relevant discipline, and master’s degree with atleast 55 % or equivalent. Candidates should have valid score of SET/NET/SLET.

Eligibility for Director Physical Education: candidate should be a Ph.D in Physical education, and should have 10 Years experience as University Deputy or 15 Years as University Assistant DPEs/College. Candidates should have participated in at least two national/international seminars/conferences.

Eligibility for Librarian: Candidates should have Master’s Degree in Library Science/Information Science/Documentation with minimum 55 % or equivalent with 13 Yeas experience as Deputy Librarian or 08 years as College Librarian.

Eligibility for Deputy Librarian: Candidate should have completed Masters in Library Science/Information Science/Documentation with minimum 55 % or equivalent with 05 Years experience as Assistant Librarian College Librarian.

Eligibility for Assistant Director: candidate should have completed Master’s Degree in Physical Education or master’s degree in Sports or equivalent Degree with minimum 55 %. Should have represented University/College at State/University competitions.

Eligibility for Physical Training Instructor (PTI): candidates should have Graduate in Physical Education with NET/SLET/SET or Ph.D.
