UPSC Departmental Competitive Examination 2017, Apply 7 Assistant Commandant Vacancies

UPSC invited applications from departmental candidates for Departmental Competitive Examination 2017, scheduled to be held on 5 March 2017, for 7 vacancies for Assistant Commandant (Executive) posts under Central Industrial Security Force (CISF). These vacancies are strictly for inter department candidates. The last date to apply through proper channel is 30 December 2016.

Candidate should be an official of CISF and should satisfy eligibility conditions as notified by Ministry of Home Affairs. Candidates should possess 4 years service in the rank of Sub. Inspector (GD) / Inspector (GD) including the period  of basic training and should have clean record of service and should not be more than 35 years of age. Candidate should satisfy minimum required physical and Medical standards required in order to be eligible for UPSC Departmental Competitive Examination 2017. 

Candidates applying for Assistant Commandant (Executive) posts will be selected on the basis of performance in the UPSC CISF I Departmental Competitive Examination 2017, scheduled to be held on 5 March 2017 and subsequent interview/Personality Test.

Intending eligible candidates can apply for the UPSC Departmental Competitive Examination 2017 for recruitment to the Assistant Commandant posts  by send the applications in format as prescribed, to ‘Director  General,  Central  Industrial Security  Force,  13,  CGO  Complex,  Lodi  Road,  New  Delhi’ before the last date of application 30 December 2016.
