The Union Public Service Commission(UPSC) has released its exam calendar for the year 2019. The UPSC exam calendar contains the schedule for the all the UPSC Exams which will be conducted in the year 2019. Some of the exams will be notified in the year 2018 itself and the rest will be notified in the year 2019.
The year 2019 will start with the Engineering Services (Preliminary) Exam 2019 on 6 January 2019 and will end with the S.O./Steno (GD-B/GD-I) LDCE on 14 December 2019.
The other important date is the 2nd June 2019 when the Civil Services Preliminary Exam will be conducted in 2019. The suprise for the candidates is that the Civil Services Main(written) Exam will commence from 20 September 2019. Usually this exam commence in the month of October. So in 2019, this will be the real deviation from the previous years exam schedules.
The calendar gives the required information about the date when exams will be conducted. It will help all the UPSC aspirants to plan their preparation as per the exam schedule given in the UPSC Exam Calendar. UPSC recruits the candidates based on their potential and aptitude through various levels of examinations every year to fill the vacancies in the various central civil services and designations of the country.

Under direct recruitment procedure, the Commission selects eligible candidates through competitive examination followed by an interview. The Commission conducts numerous examinations every year to recruit candidates in various fields like Civil Services, Engineering, Medical, Forest Service, etc.
