She first thought of appearing in Civil Services IAS Exam during her third year of Graduation course from Delhi University (DU) and she started preparation for IAS Exam 2016 only from the month of August 2015. She had planned her strategy for IAS preparation in short duration for which she first went through the previous year question papers of UPSC IAS Exam and the complete syllabus for UPSC IAS Exam.

According to her, IAS Interview preparation requires- preparation about DAF (Detailed Analysis Form), current affairs, candidate’s graduation subjects and the optional subject chosen by a candidate. First of all, a candidate should prepare each and every word of their DAF because more than 80% focus of the interview panel will be on DAF only.

She said that for IAS interview the subjects like Economics and Political Science and International Relations are the most important because the interview panel will ask more questions about the Indian economy and International Relations. So, basically, whether it is an economy of International Relations, questions based on the current affairs will be asked in IAS Interview.
