The UPSC has declared the UPSC IES-ESE 2016 tentative vacancies details, as per the requirement raised for by different government and compiled on the basis of the information provided by Cadre Controlling Authorities which is tentative and liable to change.

The No. of vacancies for UPSC IES-ESE 2016 is as follows:

IES-ESE 2016 Vacancy for Civil Engineering -CE = 205
IES-ESE 2016 Vacancy for Electrical Engineering -EEE = 123
IES-ESE 2016 Vacancy for Electronics Engineering -ECE = 104.
IES-ESE 2016 Vacancy for Mechanical Engineering -ME = 177

Eligibility Criteria For UPSC IES-ESE 2016:

To appear in UPSC IES-ESE 2016, Any candidate who is engineering graduate and who is between 21 to 30 years of age can apply for this exam. The exam is conducted by UPSC for engineering graduated candidate.The Candidate must have obtained a degree/diploma in engineering from such foreign university/college/institution recognized by the Government of India from time to time.

He/She should have Passed Graduate Membership Examination of the Institute of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (India); or
