Union Public Service Commission is all set to conduct CAPF (Assistant Commandant) Written Examination 2013 for recruitment of Assistant Commandants (Group A) in the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) viz. Border Security Force (BSF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), and Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP). The CAPF Examination 2013 will tentatively be held on 20 October 2013. A Candidate must have attained the age of 20 years and should not exceed the age of 25 years as on 01 August 2013. Upper age relaxation is applicable as per rules.
Candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university.
The final selection will be made on the basis of candidates’ performances in Written Exam, Physical Efficiency Test & Medical Standard Test, and Interview/Personality Test taken together.
General and OBC candidates are required to pay a non-refundable application fee of Rs.200/- while Female/SC/ ST candidates are exempted from payment of fees.
