Eligibility Criteria for Additional Director and Other Posts Job

Educational Qualification:

Additional Director: The incumbent should have Doctorate degree in Horticulture/ Forestry/ Agriculture with consistently good academic record. The incumbent should have 10 years of teaching (at UG/ PG level)/ research experience and should be working as Associate Professor or equivalent in the AGP of Rs. 9000/- in Central/ State Govt. University / Educational / Research Institution. Evidence of contribution to Research/ Teaching as supported by published work/ innovations. Experience in Planning/ execution/ Coordination of Research Programme/ Activities in Forestry/ Horticulture/ Agriculture disciplines.

Joint Director: The incumbent should have Doctorate degree in Horticulture/ Forestry/ Agriculture with consistently good academic record. The incumbent should have 10 years of teaching (at UG/ PG level)/ research experience and should be working as Associate Professor or equivalent in the AGP of Rs. 9000/- in Central/ State Govt. University / Educational / Research Institution. Evidence of contribution to Agriculture Extension Work as supported by published work/ innovations. Experience in Planning/ Execution/ Coordination of Extension Education Programmes pertaining to Forestry/ Horticulture/ Agriculture disciplines.

Professor (Food Science & Technology): The incumbent should have Doctorate degree in Food Science & Technology/ Food Science/ Food Processing with consistently good academic record. The incumbent should have 10 years of teaching (at UG/ PG level)/ research experience and should be working as Associate Professor or equivalent in the AGP of Rs. 9000/- in Central/ State Govt. University / Educational / Research Institution. Evidence of contribution in the field of Food Product Development/ Food Processing/ Value addition etc.

Professor (Medicinal & Aromatic Plants): The incumbent should have Doctorate degree in relevant subject with consistently good academic record. The incumbent should have 10 years of teaching (at UG/ PG level)/ research experience and should be working as Associate Professor or equivalent in the AGP of Rs. 9000/- in Central/ State Govt. University / Educational / Research Institution. Evidence of contribution in the field of Medicinal & Aromatic Plants.

Associate Professor: The incumbent should have Doctorate degree in relevant subject with consistently good academic record. The incumbent should be working as Assistant Professor in the AGP of Rs. 8000/- in Central/ State Govt. University/ Educational/ Research Institution in the relevant field.
