Eligibility Criteria for recruitment of PO in Vijaya Bank
Educational Qualification: Degree from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Government of India.
IBPS Score Requirement: Candidates should be qualified in the Common Written Examination conducted by IBPS and should be holding a valid score card issued by IBPS (TWS is 138 for General Category and 113 for OBC, PWD, SC, and ST category). IBPS Score cut-off in individual subjects should be 24 and above for General category candidates and 21 and above for OBC, PWD, SC, and ST category candidates.
Age Limit (as on 1 July 2011): Minimum 20 years, Maximum 30 years
Selection Procedure for recruitment of PO in Vijaya Bank: Selection for the post of `Probationary Officer' will be made on the basis of performance in Common Written Examination (CWE) conducted by IBPS in September 2011/ Supplementary written examination on November 2011 and Group Discussion and/or Interview.
Depending on the number of vacancies, only those candidates who are qualified in the Common Written Examination conducted by IBPS and possess a valid score card issued by IBPS and rank sufficiently high in the order of merit based on the total Weighted Score shall be called for a Group Discussion and/or Interview.
Group Discussion: Communication skills, Analytical skills, personality traits etc will be assessed through Group Discussion. Candidates should secure a minimum of 40% (35% for reserved category candidates) i.e. Minimum 20 (17.5 for reserved category candidates) marks in the Group Discussion to be merit listed.
Interview: The interview shall be conducted to assess the personality traits having bearing on interpersonal competence, emotional stability, adaptability, courtesy, self confidence & temperament, positive attitude towards work/ people and communication skills etc. Minimum qualifying marks in interview are 40% (35% in case of Reserved Category candidates).
Final Selection: Final selection will be on the basis of the merit ranking reckoned after adding the marks obtained in the Total Weighted Score in the CWE (250 marks), Group Discussion (50 marks) and/or Interview (100 marks).

Application Fee: Fee for General and OBC category candidates is Rs 200 and fee for SC/ ST/ PWD category candidates is Rs 50.

After submitting the On-Line application form, with the application fee details duly entered therein, candidates are required to obtain two (2) Print-outs of the Computerized System Generated Application Form. One Print out of the System Generated Printed Application Form should be kept ready for submission to the Bank, along with one set of photocopies of documents listed in the notification only when invited for the Personal Interview. The second Print-out of the Application Form may be kept by the candidate for his record.
