Vijaya Bank Recruitment of Sportsmen in Clerical Cadre 2012

Vijaya Bank, a strong and fast growing Public Sector Bank, with its Head Office at Bangalore Bank, with all India representation, invites applications from eligible sportsmen for recruitment for the post of Clerk on the probation of 6 months.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification: Pass in XII Standard examination or equivalent from a recognized University/ Board/ Central/ State/ UT administration Or Degree in any discipline or its equivalent. Applicants should attach attested certificates/ marks cards evidencing their educational qualification.

Sports Qualification: Should have represented the State in National event, or the District in State Level event with distinction, or the university in an Inter-university event with Distinction or if he was a member of the Combined universities Team. (Preference will be given to current State players).

Age Limit (as on 1 January 2012): Minimum 18 years; Maximum 24 years

Application Fee: Application fee for General and OBC category candidates is Rs 250 and fee for SC/ ST candidates is Rs 50.

The fee is payable in the form of Demand Draft/ Pay Order/ Bankers Cheque favouring "Vijaya Bank, Recruitment (Sportsmen) Project, 2011" payable at Bangalore only.

Selection Procedure: Candidates will be selected on the basis of field trials and interview. Call letter for this purpose will be issued only to short-listed applicants.
