Eligibility Criteria for West Bengal Government Medical Technologist, Lab Tech. & Other posts

Educational/Technical Qualification & Experience:

• Technical Assistant (JE/AES) under NVBDCP: Graduate Degree and Diploma course in Computer Science with minimum Typing speed of 30 w.p.m. & ability  to type in Bengali.
• GNM under Thalassaemia Control Programme: Completed GNM Course recognised by Indian Nursing Council.
• Laboratory Technician (NUHM): 12^th passed with Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Mathematics and Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology with knowledge of Computer, MS Office, Internet.
• Medical Technologist (Lab) for Blood Banks: 12^th passed or its equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology and Diploma in Laboratory Technology.
• Medical Technologist (ECG): 12^th passed or its equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology and Diploma in ECG Technology.
  

Age Limit:

• Technical Assistant (JE/AES) under NVBDCP: Not exceeding 40 years
• GNM under Thalassaemia Control Programme: Not exceeding 40 years
• Laboratory Technician (NUHM): Not exceeding 40 years
• Medical Technologist (Lab) for Blood Banks: Between 18 to 37 years
• Medical Technologist (ECG): Between 18 to 37 years

Selection process for West Bengal Government Medical Technologist, Lab Tech. & Other posts:

Candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in Viva-voce & Practical Examination.
